Schwab Charitable Fund offers very competitive account fees. Details regarding the Fund’s administrative and investment fees are described below. You may also choose to download a PDF of the Fund's “Investment Choices & Administrative Fees” brochure or contact us to have one mailed to you.

Administrative Fees
The Fund incurs expenses in operating your Charitable Gift Account. These include Donor Services phone support, mailed notices, statements and communications, grants administration, and online services. To cover the costs associated with these services, the Fund assesses an account administrative fee, outlined in the chart to the right.
For accounts using the Charitable Asset Management feature, the Fund incurs additional expenses and therefore assesses a slightly higher administrative fee.

Investment Fees
The assets of your Charitable Gift Account are invested for tax-free potential growth, and there are fees associated with those investments.
For accounts invested among the seven investment pools, fees vary, based on the management and operating expenses of the underlying mutual funds. The fees are outlined on the table to the right.
For accounts using the Charitable Asset Management feature, negotiated investment fees are paid directly to the advisor; the Fund does not charge an additional investment fee.

For accounts using Charitable Asset Management ($250,000 account minimum): In addition to the fee schedule above, accounts of less than $1,000,000 using Charitable Asset Management are charged $250 per quarter.)

For accounts using Charitable Asset Management
The fee paid to the investment advisor must be approved by the Fund, and may not exceed 1% of assets under management.

1. The minimum individual account administrative fee will be the greater of $100 or .60%.
